The East Meadow incident occurred on Wednesday, June 12, according to Nassau County Police.
Just before 8 p.m. that evening, a 9-year-old girl was standing outside of her Falcon Street home when a white van parked across the street.
The man motioned for the girl to come over. When she did, the adult exposed himself, and she ran away, telling her father about the interaction.
Police described the suspect as an adult man with a medium complexion, short black hair, and a thin mustache. He was wearing an orange t-shirt during the incident and the white van had an orange ladder on top.
